Community Classes
Edinboro Market is now offering monthly community classes. See what upcoming classes you might be interested in below. This program is partially funded by a grant that allows for some class costs to be discounted for those who can’t pay full price for these offerings. These classes are supported by ECGRA funding.

- Spring 2025 Classes
Sourdough 101 | May 3, 2025 | 3 PM – 5 PM
Sourdough 101 with Kathy Sibbald
The full cost for this class is $25, but please feel free to pay what you’re able so you can enjoy this class without worrying about the cost.
Each baker should bring 2 or 3 quart Mixing Bowl, with the option to purchase a proofing basket, liner, bench scraper and lame for $15. Included in the class will be all the supplies needed to bake a loaf of sourdough bread, recipes and your own starter to continue your new sourdough journey. Each baker does need to have a baking vessel at home (not needed for class) that is heat resistant to 450°.

Attendees are encouraged to bring:
- Bug spray (without DEET)
- Appropriate footwear/clothing for all weather conditions
- Water (to drink) if necessary
- Favorite field guide if you have one
- Backpack or container
- Small gardening tools
