Sunny Slope Market & Orchard is the latest producer to joins us from Ohio! Established in 1936 and located in Navarre, Sunny Slope is both the orchard and the market that makes this shelf-stable applesauce. They grow 30+ varieties of apples, and the apple sauce we currently carry uses their Golden Delicious apples.
Forma Pasta is a market and restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA that focuses on making fresh and dried pasta, deli delights such as soups, salads, dips and other to-go and take-and-bake food. We are now carrying their dried pasta! Forma is owned and operated by Chef Rebecca Romagnoli. If you’re in their neighborhood check out their classes on how to make your own pasta Thursday evenings from 6-8pm.
Thank you to the students and staff from the Neighborhood Art House for visiting Edinboro Market as one of several Erie County stops included in their “Green Spaces” themed week.
At Edinboro Market students learned about our local food economy, participated in a grocery scavenger hunt, and shopped for a tasty snack to remember their visit.
We appreciate talking with people of all ages who enjoy good, local food
as much as we do! 🙂
