This week Squirrel is going nuts over River Valley Pasta, Grabski’s pulled pork & baked beans, and Fetch! Dog Treats. River Valley Pasta and Fetch! are our newest producers, so scroll down to our New Producer Spotlight to learn more.
Grabski’s Farm Market prepared food is back! Pick up a quart of plain, BBQ or Honey Mustard pulled pork, and BBQ baked beans in quart and pint sizes.
New Producer Spotlight: River Valley Pasta
Since 2017, River Valley Pasta founders Mike and Alee have been fusing classic pasta making techniques with unique flavors such as mushrooms, spinach and more. Findlay, OH is home to RVP’s handcrafted, small batches of pasta. Check out the Recipe Corner at the bottom of the newsletter for some of our favorite recipes of theirs and what Edinboro Market products we suggest using!
Not pictured: Roasted Garlic and Mushroom flavors. These two flavors have been hot sellers. We will be getting more in by the second week of April.
New Producer Spotlight: Fetch! Dog Treats
In 2012, Jackie Lovern decided to start baking dog treats made with nutrient-rich, wholesome ingredients for her Miniature Schnauzer, Sergeant Pepperoni. Made just outside of Buffalo, NY, Fetch! All Natural Dog Treats are human-grade and made without by-products, chemical preservatives, soy, corn, meal, and wheat, so you could give them a try if you wanted to! 😉
Food for Thought
The Farm Behind the Food: Strawberry Lane Produce
In upcoming Food for Thought segments we’ll be featuring interviews with several of our producers, filmed and edited by Allegheny College Biology Major and Video Production Assistant Mary Dosch. Part of our mission is connecting customers with the people who grow and make their food. Mary’s videos are a great way to do that. Thanks Mary!
First up in our “The Farm Behind the Food” series is Strawberry Lane Produce, who delivered our first round of Spring produce earlier this month!

Pasta: RVP-Style
We really appreciate River Valley Pasta’s love for a good meal, and the recipe section on their website is ripe with fresh inspiration on how to use your pasta! Check out a few of our favorites, and ways to include other Market ingredients, below.
And of course, you could keep it simple by pairing any of these delicious pastas with a Twisted Vine Gardens sauce (the shelf above River Valley Pastas.)
Our goal is to provide access to fresh, locally grown food while being an entrepreneurial marketplace for food producers; and an understanding of the importance of both.
