New Producer Profile: Baker-Hart Studio
We are excited to welcome aboard new artisan producer, Baker-Hart Studio, just in time for the holidays! Specializing in fused glass art, owner Deborah Zingaro and her husband Joe strive to create eye-catching yet practical pieces of art. Deb’s passion for this craft began when she was working as director of the Conneaut Public Library and began taking evening classes in drawing and painting. When she started her studio, Joe took an interest and began working with both stained and fused glass before retiring from teaching at Kent State. They will be here full-time, with fused art for every season.
Thank you, Leah, for the Herbal Wellness Class!
On Friday, November 10 from 6-7:30 pm, Leah Wolfe, MPH of The Trillium Center held a class called, “Herbal Elixirs for Winter Wellness.” This event included demos of how to make elderberry syrup and fire cider, with the opportunity for each participant to “make-n-take” their own and ask plenty of questions. Thanks so much, Leah, for taking the time to journey to Edinboro and share your herbal wisdom!

Announcements
Pop-ups, this weekend!
Just a reminder that local author Janyce Brawn will be here Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10-2 pm to sell books from her youth fantasy series, Tales of the Teleporting Topsider. Then on Sunday, Nov. 19 from 10:30-1:30 pm, local artist Hey Moon Eyes will be peddling his fiber art and illustrated goods. Stop by and say hello and maybe spark a couple of holiday gift giving ideas…
Our goal is to provide access to fresh, locally grown food while being an entrepreneurial marketplace for food producers; and an understanding of the importance of both.
